I know, right? The tire's junk already, put it on the drive axle and do burnouts in the tire shop parking lot until it pops. THEN replace it. Get your money's worth out of it.

Ah. Generally the manufacturer will take care of the customer in a situation like these. Hell even if you got your tires put on by a shop they will take care of you simply because of the warranty...There's so much tread left on these tires I doubt they even fell out of warranty. If this tire got/gets replaced it'd be recycled, although likely not as the same tire as it was before.
